Kitara Students Association (KISA):

KHEDA has supported the establishment of a national coalition of the various KISA associations. The national KISA leaders meeting organised with support of KHEDA and attended by National Political leaders and the Kingdom representatives in November 2008 decided to elect a coordanation committe. The KISA national committee was established at a meeting that was attended by the chairmen of the various KISA commitee »s from institutions including Universities of Makerere, St.Lawrence, Nkumba, Mulago, Bukalasa, Ndejje, Kyambogo, and Butabika

From the elections that were held (22nd November 2008) to form a coalition of KISA leadership form various institions into a national commitee the following formed the committee:

KHEDA and the Oil and Gas Sector

Kitara Heritage Developement Agency has since its inception and registration been involved in issues like energy, land and economic development. The major activities in this relation have been organising symposiums on oil and gas, workshops for leaders from the region on issues of land and economic development and information dessemination to communities through radio talk-shows.
