Welcome To Kheda

Kitara Heritage Development Agency (KHEDA) is a membership civil society organization registered as Public Company limited by guarantee and registered on the 6th September 2006. KHEDA has been established with the objective of contributing to a united Bunyoro Kitara in which all people in Bunyoro are involved in the formulation and implementation of development plans and programmes which affect them. It spearheads Kitara’s social, economic and moral transformation through: Unity, in diversity, fostering a strong sense of belonging, a spirit of excellence, social and economic liberation, leadership capacity development, cultural and moral vision development.

Values:

KHEDA is an all embracing organization composed of all persons interested in the development of Uganda in general and Bunyoro Kitara in particular irrespective of ethnicity, tribe, religion, colour and or political affiliation. It is non-profit, non partisan, non sectarian and all embracing civil society organization.

Goal:

To contribute to a united Bunyoro Kitara in which all people are involved in the formulation and implementation of development plans. It spearheads together with other stakeholders the social, economic and moral development of the Bunyoro Kitara Communities regardless of their affiliations.
